MINISTRY HIGHLIGHTS

 

v     v     PRAISE & WORSHIP

We have a wonderful Worship ministry that equips the workers on how to lead others in a meaningful experience of worshipping the Father. Artistic and musical gifting are utilized to produce a rich expression of adoration for the Master.

 

v     v     MISSION INVOLVEMENT

We see ourselves as a part of the body that can encourage Missionaries on the field. Through partnership, financial support and sending mission teams, our church can get a taste of what is going on in the global mission work of the church.

 

v     v     FAMILY CAMP

This is probably the main event of our summer month activities. It is a time for families to get a break from our busy schedule. We visit some of the finest camping facilities in our region and spend a few days there of building relationships, worshipping and intense teaching. Of course, there is ample time for much needed rest & relaxation.

 

v     v     SINGING GROUP

God blesses the talents offered to Him. Our singing group at J.F.A. Scarborough are among the seasoned and refined within the circuit. Some of them have been on T.V. and Radio Shows. Some of them have been back up singers for Steve Kuban concerts and recordings. You will surely be blessed by their ministry.

 

v     v     CELL GROUPS

This is our church when we are not in the church. It is a place where every member is linked to a smaller group of believers for the purpose of teaching, counseling and ministering. This is where the real growth takes place. This is where gifts are discovered and confirmed. This could very well be the life of the church.

 

v     v     SPECIAL INTEREST CLASSES

Melody Makers – is a vocal music class designed to help current singers and singers to be. It is a friendly setting to learn the mechanics of singing. You can look at it as the stewardship of the voice God has given us.

 

Tiny Feet For Jesus – see little feet learn to dance for the King. Dancing is so natural for kids. In this class they are encouraged to develop that expression not just as an expression of art but of worship.

 

v     v     COMMUNITY EVENTS

It is our goal to make our presence felt in our community. That is why four times in a year, we organize an event for the community. The church becomes the host and servants. From dinners to evangelistic events, picnics to neighborhood helpers,  feeding programs and sports outreach, we explore the possibilities of letting others know in a practical way the love of Jesus Christ.
